Holiday clubs offer far more than childcare alone. They provide valuable opportunities that support children’s development in a relaxed and enjoyable setting.
Social development and friendships Children have the chance to mix with peers outside of their usual classroom groups, helping them develop communication skills, confidence and teamwork.
Creativity and self-expression Through crafts, themed activities and hands-on experiences, children are encouraged to use their imagination and express themselves freely.
Physical activity and wellbeing With outdoor play, sports and group games, children stay active, build coordination and enjoy being physically engaged throughout the day.
Confidence and independence Trying new activities and taking part in group challenges helps children develop resilience, independence and a sense of achievement.
Support for families Holiday clubs also provide flexible, reliable childcare, supporting parents during school holidays and helping to balance work and family life.
