June round-up

Another month with no sun... we didn't let that get us down though, we still had lots of fun here at Grace Dieu Manor Park Nursery and Charles Booth Pre-School.

Our most recent theme has been 'The Tiger who came to Tea'. The children loved making Play-Doh cakes, filling and pouring cups of tea in our water play area and painting tigers. We were also lucky enough to be joined by the wonderful Ray of Stars who hosted a lovely workshop.

The library van came to visit! Mrs Simpson read the children a story about a cat and a fox, the children then chose some new stories to take back to our classroom. Thank you to Richard from Leicestershire Libraries for helping us to stamp and scan the books.

Our Upper Pre-Schoolers’ have been practicing their football skills! Our Grace Dieu Manor Park location is set within the grounds of the prestigious FCV football academy. Meaning we are lucky enough to use the sports hall and outdoor space! Maybe one of them will play for their country in 15 years time?
