At Grace Dieu Manor Park Nursery and Charles Booth Pre-School, we are committed to nurturing our children physically, emotionally, socially, and intellectually. That’s why we are proud to offer a wide range of enriching clubs that go far beyond the classroom. Our weekly swimming, forest school, yoga, dance, and music and movement sessions offer children meaningful opportunities to explore, grow, and thrive.
Forest School
Nature is one of the best classrooms, and our Forest School sessions invite children to learn and play in the great outdoors. These hands-on experiences encourage curiosity, resilience, and problem-solving skills, all while fostering a deep connection to the natural world. From bug hunting to building dens, children gain confidence and independence, develop fine and gross motor skills, and learn the importance of teamwork and environmental care.

Yoga
Our children love their calming yoga sessions hosted by Steph at Yoga in Coalville. These sessions are designed especially for young minds and bodies. Yoga helps improve flexibility, balance, and coordination, but its benefits go beyond the physical. It also nurtures emotional wellbeing by teaching mindfulness, self-awareness, and techniques for relaxation. These skills can support children in managing big feelings and transitions with confidence.
Dance
Dance sessions hosted by Lil Beatz Charnwood are full of energy, creativity, and joy. As children move to music, they develop rhythm, body awareness, and self-expression. Dance also supports language and memory through storytelling and structured routines. Importantly, it boosts self-esteem and encourages social connections, all while keeping little bodies active and engaged.
Swimming
Swimming is an essential life skill. Through our partnership with Splish Splash Swim, our children enjoy expert-led lessons in the wonderful pool at Grace Dieu Manor Park. These sessions help children build water confidence, coordination, strength, and independence. Swimming also promotes cardiovascular health and is a key safety skill. It's always a joy to see the pride on our children's faces as they earn their swim badges and celebrate their achievements.

Music and Movement
We are thrilled to include Ray of Stars sessions led by the wonderful Ellie in our weekly timetable. These music and movement classes are specially designed for babies and toddlers, combining rhythm, song, sensory play, and physical movement in a joyful and inclusive setting. Ellie brings warmth, energy, and expertise to every session, helping our youngest learners develop early communication skills, body awareness, and a love of music. It’s a magical way for little ones to bond, explore sound and movement, and build their confidence in a safe, nurturing environment.
We believe these clubs provide children with more than just new skills, they offer memorable experiences that help shape confident, curious, and capable learners. Whether it’s splashing in the pool, exploring the forest, finding calm on the yoga mat, dancing with friends, or making music with Ellie, there’s something for every child to discover at Grace Dieu Manor Park Nursery and Charles Booth Pre-School.
