November was a busy month here at Grace Dieu Manor Park Nursery and Charles Booth Pre-School. We've learnt a lot, played a lot and most importantly, made sure we're getting into the Christmas spirit.
In honour of Remembrance Sunday, the children have been learning all about remembrance and even tried to do a minute’s silence! The children at Charles Booth Pre-School went over to St Andrew’s church for a remembrance service. We were lucky enough to be visited by one of our parents who is in the army, and was a main speaker at the Coalville parade! We visited our local church to see Rev Darren and went on a poppy hunt to make a wreath! We listened to the last post and talked about the poppy.

Grace Dieu Manor Park Nursery turned 2! It has been 2 years since we opened our doors to the lovely parents and children of the Thringstone area and haven't looked back since. We have so many wonderful memories and are so grateful to have had lots of wonderful children to teach, look after and love! We threw a party to celebrate, how cute are these pictures?

PIXevents Photography joined us to take some Christmas pictures.

Following along with the Kindness Week and Children in Need, we had a special visit from Community support officer PC Emma Ramsey. Emma spoke to the children about how she helps people in the local community.

We're looking forward to lots more learning and play next month.
